Pretty women wonder where my secret lies
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them
They think I'm telling lies.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.

It's the fire in my eyes
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing of my waist,
And the joy in my feet.

So 2 years ago I built up the courage to rock my little, curly baby 'fro and my face! There was no more hair to hide behind, it took some getting used to but I am so glad I did it and I have been loving the journey ever since. I have grown a lot spiritually, mentally, and my hair has grown a lot too!!! (big cheesy smile :D) From the first post I made it still stands true that I love myself-good bad ugly beautiful-because I am marvelously made, God is my bottom line and he makes no mistakes. The truth is NATURAL IS BEAUTIFUL and the truth is no lye.
